Naspers将减持2%腾讯股份
Naspers, the South African media company that is one of the biggest shareholders in Tencent, said that it would sell down part of its stake in the Chinese technology giant for the first time in almost two decades.
腾讯(Tencent)大股东之一、南非媒体公司Naspers表示，它将在近20年来首次出售其在这家中国科技巨头持有的部分股份。In a statement on Thursday, Naspers said that it would sell stock worth more than $10bn, equivalent to 2 per cent of the shares in Asia’s biggest company by market capitalisation, to fund investments elsewhere.
Naspers在周四的一份声明中称，该公司将出售价值逾100亿美元的腾讯股票——相当于这家亚洲市值最高公司2%的股份——以便在其他地方投资。The transaction would reduce Naspers’ stake in Tencent, the world’s biggest gaming company and the owner of China’s WeChat and QQ social networks, from 33 per cent to 31 per cent.

Naspers added that it did not plan to sell any more of its Tencent shares for at least the next three years.

Naspers’ sale comes a day after Tencent flagged its intention to ramp up acquisitions and investments, pushing its share price down as investors fretted about the toll this would take on margins.
