电商进口验胎神器被查 通过孕妇尿液就可辨别
Beijing authorities seized fetus gender testing kits from the US among parcels mailed to Chinese consumers who had placed orders on an online commerce platform.
近日，北京有关部门在邮寄入境物品中截获了来自美国的胎儿性别鉴定试剂盒，这些产品是国内消费者通过某电商平台下单购买的。Three packs of testing kits were seized by the Beijing Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau last week, the bureau said in a press release last Wednesday.
北京出入境检验检疫局上周三通报称，上周该局截获3盒胎儿性别鉴定试剂。The testing kits can allegedly predict the sex of a fetus in the first five to 10 weeks of pregnancy through drops of urine, the bureau said, quoting the product's user guide.
该局称，该产品说明书宣称，可在怀孕后5-10周通过尿液鉴定胎儿性别。
The test paper turns green for boys and orange for girls, it said.
试纸显示绿色为男孩，显示橙色为女孩。
The bureau said it will destroy the testing kits and demand the online shopping platform to stop such transactions.
