四、课后拓展

Now lets move on to our final topic of the day: driving in different countries
In the uk we drive on the left side of the road,
However in America and China you drive on the right
This can be confusing when going to a new country
On the steering wheel of your car is the car horn
In the uk we only beep the horn when we get very very angry

In China you beep the horn for many reasons, sometimes just to say “warning, I am driving close to you”
So in china you beep your horn much more than in the UK
If you go on the road you can hear many people beeping their horns.
So when I first came to China I wondered why everyone was so angry!
This was actually a cultural difference, actually they were communicating through their car horns, and were not angry
However if you go to the US or UK do be careful not to beep your horn too much
There are also different rules concerning crossing the road in other countries
In many places in America if you don't cross the road at a zebra crossing you can be fined, it is illegal
This is called jaywalking
Ok we will finish today's lesson here, and I will see you next lesson for lesson 21, see you next time, bye bye!
