句子是表达完整思想的独立语言单位。简单的句子一般必须含有主语与谓语。谓语山动词或动词短语，或联系动词加表语担任。动词或联系动词在谓语中有人称和时态及语态形式。

句子还有宾语、定语、状语等其他成分。举例：Birds fly.(主语+谓语)/The light turnedout.(主语+谓语)/The books are new.(主语+谓语;主语+联系动词及表语)/ Those boys play football every day.(定语+主语十谓语+宾语+状语)/ Theres water in it.(谓语+主语+状语)练习1：判明并划出谓语：
