The technology of China is not very developed comparing to America and manyother countries. So if we want to learn others' technics, we have to read theirrelevant materials which are probably written in English. If we don't know muchabout English, we shall not make fast progress.

However, most of the students find it difficult to learn English well.Because remembering words is really a hard job for them. In my opinion, youshould treat it as a tool for communication instead of a course like math orphysics. We should speak it more to others, thus improving our ability ofspeaking.

In a word, English is very important to us without which we will be dumbpeople who can speak.
